“Families Learning Together” is for the families of children ages 0-7  it is based on a storytime model and includes breakfast, crafts, active games and gardening.

Our goal is to increase the amount of time parents and children share books and learning. We hope to illustrate how to create learning experience from everyday opportunities. “Families Learning Together” is an engaging and active program that will excite children and get them learning alongside their parents or other caring adults. This program is centered around kids’ experiences and cultures in its reading, craft and activity components.

During the summer, the “Families Learning Together” group will make visits to local libraries where everyone will register for a library card and take a tour.
